"I collect pieces from all over the world. It's a very diverse store," she said. Clauset buys her antique pieces from auctions and other collectors. "I like pieces that have to do with art-nouveau," she said. In Jelita Arts, one can find distinct antique pieces that range from Eastern to Western cultures. Clauset is originally from Indonesia, which is where she came up with the name for her store. "'Jelita' is an Indonesian word that means 'beautiful,'" she said.
