Controlling motion
Kelly Huckaby, 35, plays tennis with his wife Trisha, 33, in Fairhaven Park on May 12. "This is my first time playing ever," joked Kelly. Trisha has been playing tennis for 15 years
and Kelly for 10. Kelly's favorite part of tennis is being outside. "If I'm playing tennis that means it's sunny. You can't really play tennis in the rain," he said. Kelly and Trisha said they try to play whenever the weather is nice and sunny.

Emotion/Relationship Shoot
Barb Moore, 62 (left) and her good friend Christina Ashby, 47, (right) celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Jalapeno's Restaurant in Bellingham on May 5. Moore, Ashby and their two other friends get together every Wednesday at different restaurants around Bellingham to relax and laugh. "We've all been friends for about 20 years, I love these girls!" said Moore. All four women work at Saint Joseph's Hospital, so Wednesday has become their designated day to spend time together. "Wednesday is the new Friday," said Ashby.

Julia Clauset, 66, poses next to her collection of Buddhist statues in her antique store on April 28. Clauset has owned Jelita Arts, located in Fairhaven, for five years. "I collect pieces from all over the world. It's a very diverse store," she said. Clauset buys her antique pieces from auctions and other collectors. "I like pieces that have to do with art-nouveau," she said. In Jelita Arts, one can find distinct antique pieces that range from Eastern to Western cultures. Clauset is originally from Indonesia, which is where she came up with the name for her store. "'Jelita' is an Indonesian word that means 'beautiful,'" she said.

Icebreaker Photoshoot-What Does Love Mean to You?
While waiting for customers at the hot dog stand in Fairhaven, Anna "Phoenix" McCleery, 17, takes some time to talk about love. "You don't know what love is until you've had your heart broken," she said. Although McCleery has definitely had her heart broken before, she is still hopeful and thinks that love is a great thing.
On Tuesday April 20 Nathan Pridgen hangs out with some friends in down town Bellingham. Instead of talking about characteristics of love, Pridgen discussed exactly what he loves most. "Well, I love myself and I love Marylin Manson," he said. Marylin Manson is one of Pridgen's favorite musicians and he has seen him in concert several times.
Wyatt Shipp, 7, runs around with his sister Kate after leaving Sierna Gelato in Fairhaven on Wednesday April 21. With a big smile on his face and looking to his mom for an answer, Shipp said "I can't choose just one thing, love is everything!" After he couldn't think of a final answer, Shipp said that it is possible to just love everything in the whole world.

Dave McCann, 57, strolls through downtown Bellingham with his dog Smokey on Sunday, April 4. McCann moved from Capital Hill in Seattle to Bellingham in 2008. He and Smokey live on his boat, the "Pacific Hustler" where they go crabbing every summer. "We're just waiting for this stormy weather to die down, then we're going crabbing," he said. This summer, McCann plans to go crabbing from La Push to Neah Bay.
